Plant Based Lifestyle/Our Mission

Why Plant-Based?

Nutrition can seem confusing and complex at times. However, there does really seem to be one thing most can agree on: eat more whole plant-based foods and eat less processed foods and refined sugars. As Gordon Ramsay would say “It’s not rocket science now is it?”

What is a Whole Food Plant Based Diet?

A Whole Foods Plant Based (WFPB) diet is one that consists mostly of whole plant foods such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes. In a WFPB diet, one generally does not consume any animal proteins such as red meat, poultry, dairy and fish. In addition one avoids oils and refined sugars (including honey, agave etc.)

Many accomplished physicians and Scientists such as Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. T. Colin Campbel, Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Michael Greggor have done so much incredible work showing how diets rich in plant foods can prevent and reverse obesity as well as a large percentage of fatal diseases.

Our Mission
